Campervan Adventures – Stage 2: Operation ‘convince hubby to buy one by trying it out!’

I’m trying to convince my husband that we should change our main car for a campervan. It’s a dream I’ve had since my teens, and the perfect reason recently arose – my cousin’s wedding in Poland at the end of next summer. Stage one wasn’t too difficult – I managed to convince him that we should trip through Europe for 5 weeks for the wedding. Stage two is now in progress – convince hubby a campervan is the way forward!

So we decided to hire a campervan for a fortnight to try it out. In the middle of November. During torrential wind and rain. Well, if we can do it now, we can do it anytime!

We picked our van up late afternoon today. It was already dark, so pictures to follow (many, many pictures!). But we did have tea (dinner, if you’re southern) in Booths car park to try it out.

Tonight we’ve actually ended up stopping at hubby’s parents house. But tomorrow the adventure begins! We plan to go to Scotland… But there’s a chance we might just head towards whoever the better weather is!
